This was my first visit to Amsterdam and the Multatuli was the ideal hotel. The location is great and is just 3 minutes from Centraal Station. Superb value for money considering the location. The staff were great and the room, although compact, was clean and most importantly warm (-10 outside on our first night). About 10 minutes from Dam Square (for the lads) and 15 minutes to the 9 Little Streets (for the ladies)!

SWAPAN PAREKH
You just cant beat the Multatuli for location.This was my 5th time in Amsterdam and I always stay at a five stars like the Hilton.Trust me I'd rather be in this location then far away in some 5 star.The staff was very friendly, and though my flight came in early they tried to get my room ready by 12:00 noon and did not charge me for the safekeep of my luggage(inspite the website saying there was a charge of 5 Euros).Nice touch.Also I had booked a single room, but was pleasantly surprised to be given a double room which was very comfortable and clean,lovely bathroom.For the price that i paid for this room right in the middle of Amsterdam, a stonesthrow away from Central Station, this was super value for money.
